| I support the FairTax. A consumption tax along with a pre-pate per citizen that would reimburse every citizen for the consumption tax on necessary items. Taxing income results in an under the table, cash economy. The FairTax implementation would require the 16th amendment be repealed so politicians could not add a consumption tax to the current income tax scheme as well as eliminate many of the taxes you listed above. The tax rates and IRS now are pawns of the prevailing political rulers, i.e. Lois Lerner targeting Conservative Groups to delay granting them tax exempt status. Shameful. | |||
